Guidelines for Oral Presentation
The paper should not be read as
written in the proceedings; oral communications require distinctly
different styles. It is better to have some visual material which
can serve as a guide.
Visual
Computer (data projection)
presentations using Power
Point or similar software.
Artwork
If several lines of text are used,
the spacing should be 1.5 characters. It is suggested, that an
all-text slide should not contain more than 10 lines or 80 words
Direct photocopies from printed text or
typescript are totally unacceptable as these would probably be
illegible and no-one will read extensive text on the screen.
Content
1-It is useful to start with a slide stating the title and
introducing the author.
2- This could be followed
by a list of points to be covered, giving the structure of
the paper to be presented.
3-Further breakdown of
each section, with a list of key terms will allow the presenter to
speak freely to each point, but at the same time provide a guide
to the presentation.
Note:
You should arrive in room at least 15 minutes prior to session
time so that you can arrange with assistants your representation
requirements.
…GOOD LUCK.
