Events
The heritage of the past and the challenges
of the Mure are defying the dichotomy of space and time which
acquire different dimensions and multiple meanings. Currently the
emerging changes and evolving communication systems, virtual
reality and the information age have started to manipulate the
design of space and articulate the perception of place.
Understanding the design implications of architecture over time is
the objective of the second international conference ARUP - 2008,
titled "Architecture Urbanism and Time...A Vision for the Future",
hosted by the Department of Architectural Engineering at
Ain
Shams University. The conference will be held at the J.W. Marriot

readdress issues such as "Architecture and urbanism through time",
in addition to analyzing the "Impact of Heritage and Prospects for
the Future", and some papers will discuss "Technology, time
constraints and future visions", in addition some paper proposed

the future"
